This woman, not knowing that braking IS allowed, passed between us and the cyclist on the other side of the road with her mouth wide open! We think she was thinking something like: "Oh my God! I'm going to kill someone!!" Hmmmmm....
..I learned about the Tabata Protocol. This is essentially a very short exercise protocol where you go at 100% for twenty seconds, then rest (no pedalling) for ten seconds, and repeat as many times as you can... Sounds like I might need a bucket next to the trainer for this when I try it!!

..I was coming to a stop, and hadn't yet decided whether to: a) trackstand b) put left foot down c) put right foot down And somewhere in between, I unclipped my left foot, put it back - then unclipped my right foot (listen for the clicks..) but oh dear, where is my center of gravity now... Aaaaaargh!
DOH! At least my left elbow took the brunt, and not my bike!
